Square Enix has acknowledged the younger players of the Final Fantasy series, and today released the family friendly World of Final Fantasy.  This latest addition to the series is now available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita systems.

Players will lead twin siblings, Reynn and Lann, as they journey through the mysterious world of Grymoire, players search for lost memories, rediscovering them to reveal the past.  Over two-hundred unique creatures can be encountered, these creatures are known as ‘Mirages.’  Along with the Mirages, a host of legendary Final Fantasy characters will also be encounterable.  Players are able to capture these Mirages, customising and evolving them to aid in the defeat of even the most ferocious foes.

The game combines both classic RPG (Role Playing Game) elements with Square Enix’s all new stacking Active Time Battle, or ATB system.

World of Final Fantasy is available now on the PlayStation 4, for $78 AUD, as well as the PlayStation Vita for $52 AUD.  The Day One edition also includes extra digital content, with things such as an exclusive Sephiroth summon and the Japanese voice-over add-on.
